Dick Keyt has raced the Polen Special almost every year he has had it at Oshkosh. Many of us at Pecan have donated time and tools to get her ready more than once. His last effort to make her better has take the last two plus years to get ready for test flight. here are some photos of her before and after the 6" extension of the engine with entire new front cowling. :rock:

BTW Dick Keyt also flys a V35 550 and is currently installing an Aspen. The Polen has a newly installed Garmin 530

To the Pecan Plantation members, I grew up in Pecan Plantation and my family still lives there. I'm close to the Jarretts, Jeff and Molly who used to have a 1973 V35B Bonanza there, N830T. Anyone remember the Jarretts and/or 830T? Beautiful V35B. This would have been in the early and mid 1990's. They lived in a house down towards the beginning of runway 36.
