Hello Jon, I do intend to have pcas unit someday. If you look at the first picture just to the right of audio panel is a yellow switch. This switch will switch rs232 info from garmin430 to rs232 info from pcas unit to 696. So the plan is leave the switch up till fly plan is setup in garmin430 then once airborne now switch to pcas. The flt plan will stay shown on 696 and I will get PCAS info. If there is a change I will be required to switch the switch back to garmin 430 prior to making route changes. I know this will work because others have done this same design in the homebuilt rv world. If you have any questions pm me. Wes Van Mierlo C-GGKP Beech Sierra

Wes, Were you able to get down to Louisiana? I live in South Louisiana and could help you out on great places to eat while you are here if you have not come yet. PM or email me if you have any questions or need any help. Ryan Ducote ryanducote@gmail.com

Hello Ryan, thankyou so much for the offer. I have not made it down there this summer, it just seemed to fly by! I am back to school teaching so I am going to have to wait till next summer now. Hopefully I can make it next summer and would love to take you up on any suggestions of places to stay and see. If you ever make it up around Toronto Ontario look me up! Wes
