Don, Adam, Tom, and Bo, The paint job is essentially the same as what AOPA did for the Bonanza they gave away not long before my plane got repainted. The prior owner dinged up a couple surfaces with some hail and after the damage was fixed, a wing and tail needed to be repainted so he did the entire plane. He liked the AOPA scheme…  I thought it would be fairly unique, but a year or so ago, I spotted another v-tail with the same paint job parked out at Pine Mountain Lake's transient parking. That one is owned by somebody in Palo Alto I think (I dug up the registration info via the FAA registry page and was surprised how close to home it was). It was weird seeing it parked only a couple rows away from my plane. I started hearing Disney's, "It's a small world" song. All I've done since I bought it is upgrade the Garmin 530 to WAAS and general maintenance. It was already pretty well tricked out. I'm planning to add shoulder belts and have pondered tip tanks (though the wing tanks already hold more hours of fuel than my personal bladder's endurance so tip tanks haven't been a priority). Tim
