C-12 rudder boost, torque differential pressure when one engine is shut down. What is going to be the percent difference reading between the two engines?????? Where is this data, not in Maintenance Manuel?

Robert,

Welcome to BeechTalk. I'm sure the moderators will get this question to the right forum for an answer, but in the mean time, feel free to share some more introduction of yourself: Where located, aviation background, etc.

And of course...PICTURES!!!

Unless there has been a change in recent years, the C-12's rudder boost system is triggered by a differential pressure switch -- in the floor under the RH seat tracks between the spars -- that activates when the difference in unregulated bleed air (P3) pressures reaches 60 psid.

When conducting the runup test with the low power engine idling near 60% Ng, it typically requires nearly 100% torque on the "good" engine to activate RB. With an engine actually shut down, not idling, then RB usually kicks in by about 60% torque.
