I purchased a '77 58 Baron almost a year ago. I am a 2000hr pilot with around 1000hr complex time. Since August of last year, I have earned my ME rating, brought my instrument rating current, and completed my Commercial ME. I am scheduled to take my Comm SE in 2 weeks.
I have owned a Cessna 140, 172, 182, a Mooney 201, a Bonanza, and. Cherokee Six.
I have been flying around 30 years, with lots of trips between Beaufort, NC and Hatteras, NC where we have a second home.
My other obsession is offshore fishing. We wintered our sportfish in West Palm Beach last winter, and used the Baron to get back and forth.
But enough about me. I wanted to tell everyone how much I have enjoyed the BT forums, and how much I have learned as a result. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to post. I will do a better job adding value to this site when possible.

I understand about the pictures...as soon as I can figure out how to post them, I will. I hate to admit it, but I am from the generation that has been dragged into the computer age kicking and screaming. Baby steps, Max.

I get out to Smith field about once a year - just wish the fees would come down. Yes. Havelock High, Class of '72. I went to ECU with some guys from WCHS. Have lived full time on Clubfoot Creek since '76, just west of Adams Creek.
