After nine years of collecting dust in the hanger, N4240B is flying. Not as bad as it could of been...1 new main fuel bladder, a rebuilt engine fuel pump, a rebuilt PS-5C carb, and a new brake line. Just a bit south of 4K total shop and parts. The worst part was filling 54 gals of 100LL @ $6.27, almost made me want to re-think the whole project. After a few engine runs, all cylinders were 70+. I have got 4.2 hours airborne and the motor is running great, all avionics, radios, and auto pilot work, and I am still showing 9 qts of oil post flight, which is the amount I put in after draining all the old oil.
Some pictures taken yesterday by my buddy from his C35.
