Congratulations Greg. You'll love the S model. I traded my A for an S with the IO550 upgrade early this year and love it.

Good luck!

Well I only have a few photos. One of the S35 and one of the panel which I am working on getting quotes to upgrade. Here is the one of the plane!

Nice Bo Greg. Looks like it's a 24V vs 12V. Was that part of the 550 upgrade?

Still 12v. What made you think 24v? Just curious.

In your photo it looks as if there's a little door, on the pilots side of the cowl, behind and the gill plate. Kinda looked like one of the 24V doors that has a place to plug in the ol jump start device.

Yeah, that's where I'm used to seeing em as well. Mine, unfortunately has no such "Handy Dandy" plug. That was a real bummer when I was learning to "Hot Start" the ol bo. (ok, ok, I only ran the battery down once, but had to have the boys @ HBC in Tampa pop the cowl and charge er up. In front of my fellow BTer's and everything , prolly scarred me for life :) )

With that 550, that's got to be a pretty nice plane. Yes, pictures would be nice.

Welcome to BT. The family history of your new Bonanza is awesome. I look forward to seeing pictures.
