Im a new member here and a new owner of a Beech Musketeer I/O-360 200hp fuel injected. Have approximately 100 hours flight time and am loving my new plane. Was wondering if anyone who may read this knows where I can buy a fuel stick at to check the fuel accurately in each tank before flight. I have one for the C-172R which I learned to fly in but can't seem to find one anywhere including sporty's or the pilotshop. Am I supposed to use the universal stick or is there one made specifically for the Beech Musketeer? Thanks! Glad to be a member here. Look forward to being involved in some conversations with you guys.

Hi, Sean. Welcome to Beechtalk. You'll find a wealth of info here. A wooden paint stir paddle (free) works as a fuel stick once you mark it with gallon amounts. Sean, Welcome to BT. The problem with the Beech Aero Club aircraft and calibrated fuel "sticks" is that the wings have so much dihedral that probably 1/2 the fuel is not visible from the fillers. But as Tom said, they are easy to make from a paint stick or a wooden dowel. The saving grace is that most of them have the tab with slots in each tank and they are pretty accurate. If you haven't already, spend $50 and join www.beechaeroclub.org they will have type specific answers to all of your Baby Beech questions.

To everyone who have replied to my introduction thank you for your warm welcome and advice. I can clearly see this site will be a huge benefit to not only myself but to the existing members and new members yet to come. I'll try and get some new photo's of my plane up soon (having a bit of trouble getting the image size right to upload) but they'll be up in the next couple days (also can ya upload videos as well??). I am actually already planning on flying into Enid for the breakfast fly in soon. I have a buddy up there who flys rotorcraft commercially for atwoods it'd be good to see him and meet some new people. I'll let you know when I'm coming up. Thanks again everyone....I'm really glad I joined!!!
