I picked up our P35 in GA in early October, and after checkout her first work was stopping in NC to do some post-Helene airlift relief on our way home to NH. I'm a retired AF pilot with a few years in the majors, and a CFII, but this is our first venture into ownership.

Welcome!
Congratulations on the Bonanza. That’s a great picture. I’m also in NH and happy to share Bonanza experiences, connections, and be helpful however I can.
Thank you for your AF service.

Welcome. Do you have any relatives in MD? We have a SIL with the same last name. :peace:

My brother is retired USN in Annapolis. But if your daughter's last name is Toth and he's your SIL, he's got a lot of 'splaining to do, 'cause it's different than his wife's maiden name!

Would love to pick your brain. ABS certified guy I was hoping would be my Bonanza guru is apparently retiring. I'm over in KCON.

Can't yet do PMs here, but my Google mail is testermanp.

Hi pat,

I’m another new P35 owner in LI at KHWV. Bonanzas make the distance between e. LI and NH a doddle. Put me inside your GA Rolodex and I’ll do the same. Love the early AM breakfast run. Or other get together.

All best. And good luck with the Bo. I’m loving mine.

Dan.

Next trip is a XC to see daughter in MI, but bringing the wife for a skyline tour is a soon-to-do excursion!

Welcome Pat!
Congrats on the P35!

My son is based just down the road from you in Boston with a certain airline.

If you have any interest in formation flying and going to Oshkosh- you should look into B2OSH. Many former AF guys involved.

I've talked to one of their guys as well as an FFI pilot. Won't make it to Oshkosh this year, but very much hoping to do so in 2026, and I'm hoping to jump into a B2Osh regional clinic this year as well.

If you want a longer flight and pleasant weather, come on down to Florence South Carolina for the South Carolina clinic. 10-13 April. Frank Amodeo has resurrected this clinic and has done a fantastic job making it top notch. He is retired AF C 130/C17 guy- but we won’t hold that against him :duck:

I sent you a PM

Thanks Scott,

Got your PM, and I'm not being anti-social but I'm still on double-secret probation that prohibits me from replying. I haven't yet noodled out the code on being allowed to do so.

Any helpful clues on how to get off probation? I have read many of the applicable threads, liked posts I particularly liked, posted some new threads and contributed to the point of feeling a bit obnoxious.

Nice Bo. But, we need more pictures...

The P and S models, IMO are the pinnacle of Bonanza engineering.

The P for it's efficiency, and the S for it's useful load.
